22 April is International Mother Earth Day. The energy sector is responsible for three quarters of the EU's greenhouse gas emissions. Increasing the share of renewable energy sources in final energy consumption is a way to reduce emissions in the energy sector and thus achieve EU climate neutrality by 2050.
