Almost half of Europe’s electricity (47.3%) now comes from renewables 
Wind: 37.5%
Solar: 27.5% (fastest growing)
Hydro: 25.9%
Denmark exceeds 90%, while some countries remain below 20% – 
Malta, 
Czechia and 
Slovakia. This shows the EU’s energy transition is still uneven and needs further investment.
